Can you help?

Is or was your family from the Channel Islands? Were any of your family members sent to a Nazi prison, concentration camp or labour camp (as opposed to the civilian internment camps of Biberach, Wurzach, Laufen, Kreuzburg or Liebenau) during the Occupation? Perhaps they had a short sentence in France or a longer one in Germany or further afield? If so, we need your help!

Do you have any family stories relating to this person? Do you have information or records on which prison they were sent to? Do you have any documents or photographs in your family which are relevant? Do you have any diaries or memoirs about your family member’s experience? All records will be written up throughout the whole of 2018 and we welcome and invite your supplements to our records.

Contact us with information about your family member so we can add more to their page on the website.

We want to hear from you! Records available in archives across Europe and in the Channel Islands don’t tell the whole story. Please plug the gaps for us.

If you have spotted any errors in your family member’s story, please email us using the contact form and we will be pleased to amend any details.

Thank you!
